Grief Specialist

Pascale Chosson

Hi, I'm Pascale and I live in Gloucestershire in the South West. I became a person-centred counselling in 2017 after a long journey through my own bereavements and my loss of identity, through several redundancies, loss of close friendships because of addiction. I was trained by Cruse Bereavement Support in 2010 and volunteered with Cruse for 12 years. Loss and grief have always fascinated me as we are all touched by them at some point and somehow, we have to go through this on our own.

I can help you with:

  • Bereavement (including sibling loss and loss of a child)

  • Separation/divorce

  • Redundancy / harassment at work

  • Emotional / physical abuse

  • Pre / post birth loss (child's complex health needs)

I am an integrative counsellor, with the person centred approach at the core of my work. I was accredited in 2022.

The counselling I offer you is non-judgemental and respectful, which enables you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a safe, confidential space. I offer face to face, online and telephone sessions depending on your needs.

I am passionate about helping others through grief and loss as I feel this is an area that can bring shame to us and make us feel very alone and forgotten. I will be with you from the start, by your side and we will work together to get you to a place where you feel whole and yourself again, with the knowledge that you have grown as a person through this experience.

My qualifications include:

  • CPCAB Level 6 Clinical supervision certificate

  • Foundation Certificate in Bereavement Counselling - Temenos Education

  • CPCAB Level 5 Counselling children and young people

  • CPCAB level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

  • Cruse Bereavement Support volunteer training
