I support adults navigating grief, trauma and anxiety, with a particular focus on miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, pregnancy after loss and fertility challenges. I also work with people experiencing other forms of bereavement, traumatic experiences, depression, OCD and PTSD.
My interest in this area is both professional and deeply personal. Following the death of our baby son, Ray, I know how overwhelming grief can feel and how it can affect every part of life. While everyone's experience is unique, I understand how loss can leave people feeling isolated, anxious, guilty, emotionally numb or unsure how to move forward.
My own experience sits alongside many years of supporting clients through bereavement and trauma, allowing me to offer both compassion and evidence-based care.
Many of the people I work with have been told that time should have healed them, yet they still feel stuck. Others struggle with distressing memories, panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, relationship difficulties or the fear of allowing themselves to feel hope again, particularly during a pregnancy after loss.
Fathers and partners often tell me they feel they have to stay strong for everyone else while carrying their own grief in silence. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone, and you don't have to face it on your own.
My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to your needs. Alongside person-centred counselling, I offer EMDR therapy where appropriate. EMDR is a well-researched approach that can help when grief has become traumatic or when painful memories continue to feel as raw as the day they happened.
Where helpful, I also integrate CBT and other evidence-informed approaches to support you in making sense of your experiences and moving towards the life you want to live while continuing to honour the person you've lost.
I believe grief isn't something we simply "get over." Instead, therapy can help you carry your loss in a different way, reducing the weight it places on your life while keeping your connection with the person who died. My hope is that, over time, life can begin to hold not only grief, but also moments of peace, meaning and hope once again.

Accredited EMDR Therapist
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
