I can help you with:
Dementia/stroke/brain disease and injury loss
Life changing illness of you or a loved one
Disability of you or a loved one
I have been experiencing the loss of my mum to brain disease causing dementia for the last 7 years. Although mum is still alive, I have lost the mum I once had and grieve the present and future we can no longer have together. I understand the impact this anticipatory grief has on people, it can affect every aspect of your life, including your mental and physical wellbeing.
As a police officer in my previous career I saw grief in often traumatic circumstances- the loss of my mum led me to change my career to allow me to help as many people as I can, using The Grief Recovery Method® and coaching. I am the founder of For The Love of Me which provides much needed grief support services to the community, whether in person or via Zoom.
The Grief Recovery program is a structured set of practical steps, I am the conduit to get you to move forward with your life by accompanying you through those steps as you gain clarity about your loss and the impact it has on your life. The transformational work comes from me teaching you not only how to let go of the pain you associate with your losses of the present and past, but you also get to learn and take these tools with you into your future to address any subsequent loss as it arises (an unfortunate fact of life).
